Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Index Labs uses cookies and similar technologies on the Lo-fi Anything website at lofianything.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. The Lo-fi Anything desktop app does not use cookies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide analytics. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which stores data in your browser rather than in a cookie file. In this policy, “cookies” refers to cookies and these similar technologies together.
How we use cookies
We use a small number of cookies, primarily for analytics so we can understand how the Site is used and improve it. We do not use cookies to serve advertising.
Strictly necessary
Cookies required for the Site to function and to remember basic choices. These cannot be turned off through our controls.
Analytics
We use PostHog and Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how visitors interact with the Site — for example, which pages are viewed and how people arrive. PostHog runs in a cookieless mode by default, keeping its data only in page memory for the duration of your visit; it stores nothing in cookies or your browser’s local storage unless you accept cookies, at which point it upgrades to persistent storage so your session is remembered across visits. This information is used in aggregate to improve the Site.
Cookies set on the Site
| Provider | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics — measures page views and interactions. | Cookie + local storage |
| Google Analytics | Website analytics — measures traffic and sources. | Cookie |
The exact cookies set may change as we update our analytics tools. We will keep this policy reasonably up to date.
Managing and disabling cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Refer to your browser’s help pages. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works.
- Google Analytics opt-out. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, so the Site may not change behavior in response.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the tools we use change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
